YouTube says it is adding Studio tools across web and mobile that span performance analysis, idea research and draft feedback. The company also outlined upcoming testing and AI-assisted creation features.

Studio adds research and draft feedback

YouTube says new Insights and Research destinations will help creators review earlier video performance and identify outlier videos as potential prompts for future content. The destinations are being added to YouTube Studio on web and mobile.

For drafts, YouTube says Studio’s new feedback feature offers personalized input on pacing, structure, storytelling and other elements. The company also says a video A/B testing feature is coming soon, with testing for as many as three video cuts to determine which hook performs best.

Shorts editing and channel controls

YouTube says it is integrating Gemini into a conversational editing assistant for Shorts and the YouTube Create app. Separately, the company says it is testing opt-in AI-powered comment moderation that learns a channel’s moderation style and needs over time when enabled.

YouTube says billions of channels are eligible to sign up for automated deepfake detection and can manage their visual likeness through its likeness detection tool. Later this year, YouTube says it will integrate speaking-voice detection with facial detection to improve match accuracy.
