You sign in with Google and connect your YouTube channel with read-only access. MyVidLog reads your channel, videos and analytics through the official YouTube APIs. It cannot publish, edit or delete anything on YouTube; you copy suggestions into YouTube Studio yourself.
Figures refresh on a schedule, not in real time. YouTube Analytics data such as subscribers gained per video can lag by a few days.
Rival, League, Compare, Insights and World Stats features use public YouTube figures only, which YouTube may round or abbreviate.
MyVidLog stores snapshots of your videos from the time you connect. Changes are logged from that point onwards, either detected automatically or annotated by you.
Earlier title or thumbnail history is not reconstructed. YouTube does not provide a history of past edits, so MyVidLog will not invent one.
For your own connected channel, MyVidLog can use private YouTube Analytics that only you can see, such as subscribers gained and lost per video.
For any other channel, only public numbers are available: subscribers, views and upload dates. Rival comparisons are therefore based on public views measured against that channel's own typical uploads, not on their private Studio data.
Change Log compares a video's performance after an edit with your channel's usual baseline. Rival Radar and Insights compare an upload with the same channel's similar or typical videos. These are descriptive comparisons, not controlled experiments.

No. Titles & Descriptions gives AI judgements on clarity, curiosity and search appeal, but it is not search-volume data and it does not guarantee rankings.
Public figures only: subscribers, views and uploads. Rival Radar flags uploads running above that channel's usual, checked roughly every six hours. Private analytics of other channels are never available.
Individual creators and small channels who iterate on packaging and want a reliable record of changes. It is not a multi-channel agency suite or a keyword research tool.
