Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MyVidLog at myvidlog.com, operated by MyVidLog, part of DTE Media. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use MyVidLog.

1. The service

MyVidLog helps YouTube creators track changes to their videos (titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and tags), see how those changes relate to performance, and compare their growth against rival channels. Features and availability may change over time.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You need a Google/YouTube account to sign in, and you must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your country.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to use the service only for channels you own or are permitted to track.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • MyVidLog offers a free plan and paid plans (Starter and Pro), priced in pounds sterling (GBP). Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe.
  • Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or the billing portal; your paid access continues until the end of the current period.
  • We may change prices or plan features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes, which take effect at your next renewal.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

4. Vidbit Coins

Some features use "Vidbit Coins", an in-app credit. Coins have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-transferable and non-refundable except where required by law. We may change how Coins are granted, priced, or used, and we may set expiry rules. Coins are a licence to access features, not your property.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any rules.
  • Attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with or disrupt the service.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our software or data beyond what the service normally allows.
  • Resell or commercially exploit the service without our written permission.

6. YouTube and third-party services

MyVidLog uses YouTube API Services and other third-party providers (including Google, Clerk, Stripe, and OpenAI). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. MyVidLog is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google. Data shown in the app comes from YouTube and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.

7. Intellectual property

We own MyVidLog, including its software, design, and branding. You keep all rights to your own channel and content. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while you comply with these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the analytics, comparisons, or AI insights are accurate, complete, or will lead to any particular result. You are responsible for the decisions you make based on the information we provide.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyVidLog and MyVidLog, part of DTE Media will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using MyVidLog and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons. On termination, your right to use the service ends, and we may delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. By continuing to use the service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, except where local law gives you other rights.
